The Ubiquiti PowerBeam PBE-5AC-620 represents the latest in Ubiquiti Networks' airMAX® Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) series, PowerBeam® ac, boasting enhanced features for robust wireless networking. This model exhibits improved noise immunity by focusing RF energy in a tighter beamwidth, effectively blocking or filtering out noise, a crucial advantage in areas saturated with similar frequency RF signals.

A standout feature of the PowerBeam ac is its integrated design, leveraging Ubiquiti’s InnerFeed® technology. This integration of the radio into the antenna's feedhorn negates the need for a cable, thus eliminating cable losses and enhancing overall performance. The PowerBeam ac is not only high-performing but also innovatively designed for versatile and cost-effective deployment.

Spectral analysis is a key component, with airView® allowing for precise identification of noise signatures and aiding in network planning to minimize noise interference. airView® monitors environmental noise in real-time, collects energy data points, and assists in optimizing channel selection and network design. Importantly, airView runs in the background without disrupting network activity. It offers three spectral views: Waterfall (aggregate energy per frequency), Waveform (aggregate energy collected), and Ambient Noise Level (background noise energy as a function of frequency).

Further enhancing its capabilities, the PowerBeam PBE-5AC-620 features advanced RF analytics powered by a multi-radio architecture. An independent processor on the PCBA enables a second, dedicated radio that continuously analyzes the full 5 GHz spectrum, offering industry-leading RF analytics. This analysis, along with RF performance monitoring, is displayed via the Main tab and airView Spectrum Analyzer, providing comprehensive insights for network optimization and management.
